8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been very happy with Isbell. My kids love it. The principal is very involved and you will see her at all the PTA events as well as outside in 25 degree weather helping with the carpool line. My kids have had great teachers so far, only one who was so-so. My only complaint is that the school is over capacity. There are nearly 1000 students. Some sort of re-zoning needs to happen and likely will. It’s not the schools fault everyone is moving to Frisco though.Parent Review2y ago - Liberty High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently had an experience with the counseling services at Liberty High School, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. Its disappointing to say that the counselors at this institution seem to put the least amount of effort into helping students with their academic and personal concerns. One major issue I encountered was the difficulty in obtaining the classes I desired. Despite expressing my interests and career goals to my counselor, it felt like my preferences were ignored. The counselor seemed disinterested and was unable to provide any viable solutions or alternatives when my preferred classes were unavailable.Furthermore, the lack of proactive assistance and guidance from the counselors was evident throughout my time at Liberty High School. It felt as though they were more concerned with meeting their minimum responsibilities rather than genuinely investing time and effort into helping students navigate their academic journey. The absence of personalized attention and a genuine effort to understand individual student needs was obvious.Communication with the counselors was also a challenge. It often took multiple attempts to schedule appointments, and even then, the meetings felt rushed and unhelpful. I expected the counseling department to be a supportive resource for students, but unfortunately, it fell short of those expectations.Overall, my experience with the counseling services at Liberty High School left much to be desired. The lack of personalized attention, difficulty in obtaining desired classes, and overall disinterest displayed by the counselors contribute to a disappointing experience for students seeking guidance. Liberty High School should address these concerns and take steps to improve the quality of their counseling services in the future.Other Review2mo ago - Vandeventer Middle School
