There are a lot of very bright kids there and plenty of opportunities to engage in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Both my kids did very well, even though they were not in the top 10 percent. It can be quite competitive on many level, not just academically. This year, my children are both graduating college, one with a teaching degree and one with a medical degree. Our kids are loving and kind and always excited to welcome new friends who join the campus throughout the year. We are culturally diverse, which only enhances our experiences. Our Principal is always fair and always available to her parents, students and staff. Being employed with LISD for over 20 years, I can assure you this is NOT the care families receive at every campus. Are we perfect, I am sure not to everyone, but are we the best the district has to offer? I feel we are! Parents want their children on our campus! Don't get me wrong, I love that place! I just look around and see other schools getting to do all of these fun activities and events at their school, while we just sit around, stuck with work. "I’ve lived in Flower Mound for 20 years. Very safe, great schools, friendly people, close to great shopping and 15 minutes from DFW airport. Dallas and Fort Worth where we can see great shows and visit museums are only 30 minutes away. Perfect place to live, if you don’t mind Texas heat in the summer."
