What Locals Say about Lewisville Valley

"Dogs would love the sidewalks and parks. There is plenty of space and places for walks. This is a quiet and friendly neighborhood."
  • Karentennison1204
"There is bus service available, and a park and ride access to the train downtown, Fair Park, arts district, and other sites. It’s not quick and there are connections to make. The drive to Dallas and Denton on any freeway or tollway is a mess during rush hour. Welcome to the burbs. "

"finally downsizing after the kids got out. i lived here for 21 years and we love the neighborhood and the house itself. I made a lot of updates to this home including 16 seer AC, Gas heat, architectural shingle roof. Siding where there is not brick including all the soffitss and porch areas. Cusom slate stone entry and custom slate stone covered patio with a walkway all the way to the pool. A 20 foot octagon shaped walk around decked pool constructed of all aluminum and made to last a century its the esther wiiliams brand. An 8 foot privacy fence. A 2 car garage with attic access. A large full height storage shed and a smaller one for the lawn equipment and such. I regularly protested the taxes and kept them at a very low rate. I replaced the windows with 1 inch thick double pane low e Simonton brand vinyl windows. I also have real attic foil and added insulation. talk about low energy bills. The town supplies water sewer and trash on one bill which is convenient and reasonably priced. The electric in this neighborhood is rock solid and had the least amount of power issues of any home I ever lived in. A few years ago Verizon put fiber optic FIOS service to the neighborhood and it is also a very reliable service for TV, internet and land line phone. All in all this is a great home in a great neighborhood at very reasonable prices. At the end of Autumn Breeze and right across the street, they are presently building new homes over the last year and a half. The sign says homes starting from the 280's looks like they sold quite a few. I'll have to go look at the model to see why they are over 100 thousand more. "
