N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was hired to be the bqnd director but on day one was told the posistion was for general music and got push back when I brought up the posistion information that stated they were hiring for a band director. They said they want a band but need to get kids interested in it first before developing the program so wanted a general music teacher instead. The school is also disserving students because they do not have sped resources for the overwhelming majority of students who require more assistance than they can get from a normal classroom. Students at this school are not held accountable for their behavior which is reflected in their test scores because the majority of the time they are running the halls and vandalising school property along with disrupting other teachers classrooms. The administration has the attitude that puts students at risk later in life because they are not developing a sense of accountability to do the right thing on theirbown without coxing. Being rewarded in food and candy for just going into a classroom most days.Other Review1y ago - Hamilton High School

"It’s ok over here. I like the elderly people who are truly amazing. The neighborhood is decent for the most part, I actually feel safe even though it’s lower income in some areas. My kids like to go outside and it’s lots of space to play for them. I still wanna move though. I just want to have more room and a quieter environment. I honestly need a safe place to own a pet. I worry about his safety. "

"Our neighborhood is gated and code locked. The Day Estates subdivision is predominantly African American. No crime whatsoever happens behind our gates. We know each neighbor by name. It’s a small community, maybe 20 homes. The owner of the land lives in the neighborhood. The Day Estates should have a much higher property value than its given. "
