My child is a 9th grader and has had some great teachers so far that has answered all my questions and respond to emails very quickly. The only thing I didn't like was at first I wanted my child switched out of a class after the 2nd week of school and they told me they don't like switiching students out of the class they rather try to resolve any issues and all come together to work on the needs. I don't like that approach because that gets unnecessary people involved with something that is none of their business and sometimes it can cause teachers to act a certain way towards that student. I know this because I work at a school and I hear how other teachers gets when parents talk to admin about a teacher and student issue whether it is a small concern. I think if a parent wants their child to switch classes and it can be done then it should happen. The admin staff are really nice and again they answer emails and return phone calls quickly. A lot there activities require lots of money and more money , it seems like all they want to do is make the parents pay, pay, its makes a parent wonder what kind of budget they are working with or even what funds have been allotted to BCE.
