2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAllen High School is probably the worst school in Pennsylvania. It is extremely dirty, white powder covers every inch of it. The teachers are terrible, either very incompetent or completely unreasonable. The school itself is just a maze of buildings built ontop of each other after a century and a half.Student Review6y ago - Trexler Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhy a teacher won't let a student go to the bathroom? The student pee on herself in the classroom, then the staff ask the teacher why that happen? So, the teacher answer was, that he gave her permission to go. Then another teacher bully a student and when the student defend herself she gets suspension or detention. Oh wait, how about this one, a student get blame for a nasty message on the class board when another student was the one who wrote it, but still none of that staff bother to find out who wrote it. So, the student who was blame, got detention or other type of punishment. And all this just happened in less than a week. I believe the teachers don’t want the student to have their cell phone with them because the teachers can get caught doing wrongful things to the students and the student won’t be able to have proven of it.Parent Review7y ago - Luis A. "I hate my neighbor hood , I really don’t understand why the rent in Allentown is so expensive . The parking is horrible and the streets are trashed . The houses are too expensive to find a decent house for hard working people . I live across the street from a cemetery. So many churches without there own parking lots that take up our parking and the city does nothing . The schools are awful I have to home school my kids because of the bullying and crime that the school has . People dumping trash in the alley behind our house and I called the city plenty of times and nothing gets done ! Lots of stray cats and mice in our neighborhood and I can’t stand it here anymore."
