5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorthwestern elementary school really hurt my son. It didn’t have to be that way. The school is still hurting children just exactly like my son who have abilities that are being ignored. I love children and I will never ever stop advocating for them while they are in very destructive environments. I am stunned that administrators at this school continue to sit back and tolerate it. My son was well on his way to be left out and abandoned in this school. He is now a happy homeschooled child. He was depressed, hated math, and was rebellious while attending Northwestern. The school taught him this garbage. We did not. I am very upset with this school.Parent Review3y ago - Northwestern High School

"The neighbors in this area make it worth living here. Only second to the charming architecture. Just wish there were better local restaurants!"

"There is a lot of cookouts and family and community get togethers also. Our community comes together when we really need it the most. A lot of church charities and school charities. Not all Springfield is bad. Also the ymca is a good community even center to. This is my home town and there is still good left in this town. Not all is bad. Also the soup kitchen where it feeds the homeless and also gives the people clothes. There is also basketball courts where the community can get together and play basketball and enjoy it and have fun. There’s a skate park also where younger kids skate and ride there bikes at. There is a lot of bike trails and fields to play sports "
