5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s a very big school and the student body is diverse. The resources are there for all students and many do go on to good colleges. Then there are the other types of students who either show up to just mess around or rarely show up( somehow it’s mostly the black kids). The teachers are mostly good and some are great. Because of the large student body, students who need to be hand held and spoon fed will not do well at Cardozo. The staff is there to support me but if I dont show interest they won’t chase me down either.Student Review3mo ago - Ps 31 Bayside

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has left me with lasting trauma regarding my child’s safety. In 2019, my four year old son was able to leave by himself undetected during dismissal. I found him half a block away by himself looking for me. It was pure luck that I was walking toward him and didn’t come up from the other direction. He could have been abducted, hit by a car, you name it. The school has since changed their dismissal procedure. When I called the following day to talk to the principal, they swept my concerns under the rug. Abysmal handling of both safety and justified parent concerns.Parent Review3mo ago - Ms 158 Marie Curie

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIs the 3rd yr of my little one in this school. The first year we can’t engaged too much since that is a pandemic year. But school provides us online class and teachers are so kind to assist us a lot. Kindergarten was an off mode for us. Mostly because he principal knowing gonna be away for new y year or maybe the teachers wasn’t in good connect with parent. But I am so happy for this year , our class teacher very concerned about our kid and keep on ear to parents . Overall this is a great school for usParent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 48-55 212th Street.
