7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children transferred from private school to public school system for the Special Education offered. I must say the Principal is very engaging and appears to be very interested in the well being of the children. I am happy to say that any concern or questions presented to Mr. Medina has been answered and resolved. He is very helpful. I have attempted to be part of the PTA and participated in a couple of meetings but their IT is lacking. Some parents send their kids with lack of manners but I guess that is expected with public education.Parent Review9mo ago - Mount Vernon High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMVHS students have made tremendous improvements since Principal Ms. Pauline Pearce took over the position. There are very few disputes between students as in the past. Ms. Pearce strict no-nonsense rules are great improvement to students & parents. All in all I am very proud of my son’s achievement in attending MVHS. THANK YOU!Parent Review2mo ago - Benjamin Turner Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMost of the teachers actually care about the students and want them to excel. The students on the other hand aren t taking their future serious enough and they are loud, rude and have no respect for themselves or the other students who want to become something in life.Other Review10y ago - Denzel Washington School-Arts
