8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son loves the instructors here. They’ve been doing a great job teaching the students with a hybrid model (some days remote, others in-person) since the pandemic. The principal seems caring & keeps everyone informed & updated. We are grateful for this school!Parent Review3y ago - Parkview Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall a great school! Everyone (principal, teachers, nurse, security...everyone!) is wonderful. The pick-up process is so convenient for car riders as they bring your child right out to your car for you (sure beats waiting out in the rain, snow and heat like other schools). My only complaint, like other reviewers, is my child's 3rd grade teacher but I hear she's retiring soon.Other Review10mo ago - William T Rogers Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHORRIBLE SCHOOL!!!!!! Bathrooms were closed for weeks because of damage caused by students!! Administration is more concerned about people on their phones they are about bullying and destruction of property! Do yourself a favor and spare your children the hell of going to this dump!!!!Other Review9mo ago - Rj O Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm actually surprised by the low rating of this school. When we were looking for a new house a few years ago, the low rating of this one school had us hesitating to move to Kings Park. I'm so glad we took a chance because I absolutely loved my son's experience here. The teachers and support staff are amazing. They really care and go the extra mile for their students. There's great teacher-parent communication.Other Review10mo ago - Check out schools near N/c Kohr Rd.

"Kings Park is a fantastic area that not many people know about. It is surrounded by beautiful beaches and parks. The boardwalk at Sunken Meadow State Park is a haven for runners, walkers, bikers and those who just want to stroll along the LI Sound. Schools are great and shopping, good restaurants and nightlife are all close. Wonderful place to raised kids. Only 53 miles from NYC, it is the best of all worlds with a rural feel. Lots of wooded and protected areas, historic sites and recreational facilities. Houses are well kept with beautiful gardens and lawns. Close knit and involved community, churches and synagogues. "

"In 27 years I have seen this town change alot. Town used to be ruled by hospital but that is long closed. Now they are going to tear down the buildings there and that will be prime land. Values have soared since it closed and will go much higher as it gets developed. Homes near hospital will see a increase in value as it get's developed. "
