"Kings Park is a fantastic area that not many people know about. It is surrounded by beautiful beaches and parks. The boardwalk at Sunken Meadow State Park is a haven for runners, walkers, bikers and those who just want to stroll along the LI Sound. Schools are great and shopping, good restaurants and nightlife are all close. Wonderful place to raised kids. Only 53 miles from NYC, it is the best of all worlds with a rural feel. Lots of wooded and protected areas, historic sites and recreational facilities. Houses are well kept with beautiful gardens and lawns. Close knit and involved community, churches and synagogues. "

"In 27 years I have seen this town change alot. Town used to be ruled by hospital but that is long closed. Now they are going to tear down the buildings there and that will be prime land. Values have soared since it closed and will go much higher as it gets developed. Homes near hospital will see a increase in value as it get's developed. "
