"I was born and raised in the area and have many generations of family in Northport. The Village is highly attractive for shopping local merchants, great restaurants and unique family shoppes. Main Street flows down to the inner harbor of Northport Harbor, where you can chill out on the pier with coffee and the NY Times, grab a fishing pole and drop a line, enjoy the park with your family and dog, or simply grab a park bench and enjoy!! Northport has some fantastic restuarants and has enjoyed recent fame for a local favorite, Maroni's.....home of the famous meatballs to go...Yummy! Homemade ice cream, Copenhagen Bakery, The Wine Bar and The Ritz are must visits! Words can only begin to tell the story, grab the family and friends and spend a day on Main Street, you'll see what I mean :)"
