"I’ve lived in my home since 1990, we love it here, safe, quite, friendly area. Just want to move to be closer to my daughter and her family, otherwise, I’d live out my live here. We have a beautiful private beach and marina for when we tire of our in ground pool and want to squish our toes in sand. "

"Have lived here 26 years. Working class neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly and generally keep to themselves. School district is small but top notch. Close to bay beaches less than 1 mile away. Neighbors pull together during blackouts etc. during severe weather events which are few. Lifestyle more like New England than mainstream Long Island."

"Very quiet residential area where many of the homes are second homes. Close proximity to bay and ocean beaches. "

"I think this is the most idyllic neighborhood in all of the East Hampton/Amagansett area. You are a stones throw to beaches (bay and ocean) and you are a member of the Barmes Landing Association which allows residents exclusive access to surrounding bay beaches. You are a two minute drive to Amagansett and a five minute drive to downtown East Hampton. An artist's community in its original iteration, Barnes Landing is still home to many famous artists (musicians, writers, painters and the like). Add to this both families, couples and singles and you have a diverse community of both seasonal and full time residents. Much of the area is nature preserve, so the houses are not on top of one another and there are vast areas of untouched land. The streets are quite, ideal for walking and playing. Barnes Landing is the perfect combination of peaceful living with all the bells and whistles the Hamptons have to offer minutes away. "
