7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been living in Las Vegas for just over two years. and being in the military and working in the civilian sector my family have moved around alot in the last 10 years or so. But I must say that out of all the states that my family has lived in, including Florida which is supposed to have the worse school system in the country, Las Vegas has been the worst I have ever encountered. My son has been dealing with bullies that moved here from L.A. all year, and the school has done absolutely nothing. They suspend the kids for a couple days and there back at it. I have been up to the school a total of 6 times this yr. and now I am totally fed up and just pulled my son out before this problem escalates and somebody gets seriously hurt or worse. It seems like the teachers are scared of the children, and nobody has a clue about what's going on. I called up to the school a couple days ago because my son called me to let me know a couple kids was trying to jump him, and they said they didn't have a record of my son attending there. (Really) He's been there two years.. I can't believe with me working my butt off and the amount of money I spent on a home to live in a neighborhood that is supposed to have one of the better public schools in the district, well I would hate to see the worse. I won't call it racial, but I will say the school policies need a change, and maybe some of the school faculty. It's sad to see a city that's so beautiful, and so much money runs through have such lousy schools.Parent Review2mo ago - Vincent L Triggs Elementary School

What Locals Say about Aliante
- Apryl K.

"Probably going to take two to three busses Because it is miles away from the main bus station downtown and if riding the bus isn’t a routine it will be difficult to get downtown from North Las Vegas in my opinion. "

"Aliante in my opinion is the best part of north Las Vegas . It’s great for dog owners . Nice trails and parks to walk . Clean lots of greenery"

"A gate for our community would be nice. Our street is used as a shortcut to Walmart and the other surroundings areas so they speed up and sown our road."

"Its not unique at all, we need a gate in our community so people will not use our street as a shortcut. Due to this they literally drive 35-45 miles an hour in a 25mph residential area. I tolerate it because I like my neighbors and I deal with it for now. "
- Joe C.

"A family oriented and pet friendly community! I would recommend living in this area locals and people out-of-state as well."

"This is an out of the way place, tucked in upper north Las Vegas. This is a quiet area with its own security monitor service. Its close to Alienate casino for great buffet. Costco and Bestbuy is a short hop in your car. They have an excellent park and Alienate community has plenty of activities for young and old. The area has 22 miles of walking and jogging area for the all."

"Aliante is a master planned community with all reasonable facilities. Centennial hospital is only 10 minutes drive away. Aliante casino is a good place for entertainment. Moreover, freeway 215 is very close to this place. Las Vegas Shooting park is only 7 miles from this place. I have been living this area for the last 8 years and found to be very safe place to live in. "

"There are plenty of parks for kids as well as adults, many convenient grocery stores, dry cleaners, and family friendly restaurants all in a quiet community that is close to the 215 beltway. Aliante has a casino with a 16 cinemas, and a beautiful new spa center along with excellent fine dining . There is an adult living community at Aliante as well. (Sun City Aliante) . The walking paths throughout the community are beautifully maintained and are pet friendly. There is no graffiti, the streets are swept often, and all of the public roads have landscaping that is attended to regularly making for a clean, attractive and welcoming area. "
