3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy niece attends this school and is having problems with bullying from another female student. My sister who has tried to schedule a meeting with the principle with no success?? I cannot fathom why any principle in today's school climate would not want to address a bullying situation?? My niece is the only one that is having any disciplinary action being taking out on?? I find it hard to believe that only 1 student is being caught?? My niece is being kicked and had bruises all over her legs from this girl?? She is afraid to go to school, keeps making herself sick. I am very concerned for this schools lack of concern for my niece!!Parent Review5y ago - Pennsauken High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI worked one year here, and generally speaking, this school is a stinking dumpster fire. There are several really great teachers, but they receive zero support from administration. Eight out of ten kids I taught, were at least 3 years below grade level, and 9 out of 10 spent all day playing on $1000 iPhone, and hadn't picked up a pencil (much less owned one!) since elementary school. A motivated student COULD get a quality education here, in much the same way they could from the top of Mt. Everest, the middle of a desert, or stationed on the International Space Station -- it would be quite a lonely endeavor. I would rather have a root canal without anesthesia, while my hair was on fire, than to set foot in this school again.Other Review1y ago - Howard M Phifer Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school district I’ve had my children in. There is a lot of gang afflictions in the middle school level. Administrators only care about the new STEM school they built that has all the upscale technology, the best teachers and the best students from all the schools. For this to be a public school district the opportunities for students to attend the new STEM school is impossible. These children and teachers are hand picked. As much taxes families pay here the educational system has a lot of catching up to do. In Pennsauken you are paying Cherry Hill taxes and are getting less then Camden school districts.Parent Review4mo ago - Delair Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would never recommend this school to anyone. Yes it’s a neighborhood school, but it’s outdated. If your child is different or needs even a little more help/attention in any area, they will have a hard time here. Evaluating for any extra help takes forever. Kids are not actually learning much. Kids don’t love coming here. Teachers don’t understand children. Instead of actually teaching them right from wrong, they go straight to consequences. Teachers don’t communicate with parents properly and they can be rude. Every parent that I know that has a child in this school is currently looking for a new school to transfer them to.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 8438 Eden Ln.
