My niece attends this school and is having problems with bullying from another female student. My sister who has tried to schedule a meeting with the principle with no success?? I cannot fathom why any principle in today's school climate would not want to address a bullying situation?? My niece is the only one that is having any disciplinary action being taking out on?? I find it hard to believe that only 1 student is being caught?? My niece is being kicked and had bruises all over her legs from this girl?? She is afraid to go to school, keeps making herself sick. I am very concerned for this schools lack of concern for my niece!!

Pennsauken has never lacked in giving those chilren who want to learn, an environment to do so. My daughter has been in advanced classes for math, and Language arts. Teachers and methods have been excellent, and her state test scores prove this statement. Her math NPR=91 (National Percentile Ranking), and Lang.Arts NPR=95. The diversity of childrens ethnic backgrounds will help prepare my child for a diverse world and know how to build relationships. The computer skills class builds their power point skills, The music programs brought in diverse instruments, and sounds reflecting this diversity. I also know the foundation for this was Carson Elemntary school, Advance math had prometheus boards, and they had video conferencing with British elementary schools. Some British children from that same group came for a visit/luncheon with Carson kids. I think the school system so far has been excellent (she is now going into 9th) for those who want to learn and apply themselves, and providing alternative ways to prepare these children for the next step.

Nice school with a new principal who is caring about the students. She has much to do to make changes though.... Her staff is quite stagnate in the ways of old and it will take much to change the way the teachers view the students. They are not reflective of the population and many look to special education to solve the problems students face in their learning. The principal has another philosophy that puts students first and believes that the community holds major stake in the school. She is reasonable and caring but she must battle against the community politics that more so run the school district..... Nice school.... Great leader much to change... Beginning with the ways in which students are perceived..... Ms. Green, glad to see you in The position, but you have a grand task ahead of you. Good luck!

My son attended this school. The administration just does not care about the bullying that goes on. The seem to just want to be done with it, They are not encouraging, maybe its a trickle down effect from upper administration. The education received is lacking in just about every concept including fundamentals.

Pennsauken Intermediate school...sadly a disappointing experience. I will not be sending my daughter back next year. The staff is such a mixture of dedicated and caring staff and selfish and bitter. The sad result is that some classrooms are pitifully cared for. My daughter was in a class that the teacher left due to a heart attack. The school couldn't keep a steady sub...the class was referred to repeatedly as the worse class in history of the school. I had to contact the superintendent to have my daughter switched to a new class...because the principle refused. The new class had a pregnant teacher..the sub left crying the second day and refused to return. This school is so disunified. The teaching staff needs a miracle to get a hold on these kids. The education is minimal at best.
