"Design must seduce, shape, and perhaps most importantly, evoke an emotional response."- A. Greiman. Here the feeling is unmitigated serenity, that rare, ethereal gift so few homes offer, yet for which we so deeply yearn in an ever-more-intrusive world. Its restful disposition is no accident; it is the confluence of many lovely virtues, ranging from airy living spaces and a sundrenched kitchen to its beautiful appointments, an easygoing layout and a sumptuous master suite.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOutside of the IB programme, the classes are subpar at best. Students spend the majority of time sitting around on their phones or napping and not doing any work. Admin appears to support teachers but when it comes down to it, nothing changes. Students that need special services are often overlooked with so many coming from MS with IEPS but not having the same accommodations made here, or they are not being re-evaluated. Often, when asking about a student's needs being met and the possibility of them getting tested we are told that they are not attending consistently so it's pointless. There are WAY too many ways for people to go in and out of the buildings, and during class changes there are no adults monitoring doors. The school does not appear to value the teachers, or subs. Subs are routinely pulled from their assigned duty to take on a different class, which results in the school struggling to get subs at all. Overall, I would not recommend working here OR sending your child here.Other Review1y ago - North Ridge Elementary

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI talked to the principal Ms Aman about my grandson being bullied the unconcern in her voice was unbelievable now last week a girl pushed him down the steps and now he has a swollen ankle Today is Monday now his family have to wonder all day is he safe in school today what is it going to take for Wake County to wake up and protect these kids and I'm pretty sure if this was happening to your child you would be filling the same emotions West Millbrook Middle School please treat our children as your own I'm seriously praying a concern grandma from New Bern North CarolinaOther Review4mo ago - Wake Early Coll Heal

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a terrible choice for parents and students looking for a supportive teachers. Teachers will rarely listen to or try to understand a student's point of view. The administration will ignore many student concerns without any investigation unless parents interfere. Many of the work handed is just busy work and rarely has an impact on student learning. There are some helpful teachers but there are even more cruel teachers. It's incredibly hard to fix grades that a student didn't deserve without parental interference. The courses offered are very restrictive as well.Student Review8y ago - Wake Nc State Univ Stem Early College High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had an amazing experience as a student at this school. This has made me not only ready for college but also the professional world. Throughout my four years here I was able to grow and learn through the help of the incredible students and staff. I can't wait to see what Wake STEM becomes.Student Review4y ago - Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile we have had a few bumps getting our boy engaged, the leadership have been great partners with looking at options. This school is a college prep school so there is not an emphasis in the Arts, but more a focus on core curriculum. We love that there are male teachers teaching our boy as they provide examples of strong role models. We love the uniforms!Parent Review2mo ago - Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy

"I don’t have much of an opinion on what I think is important for parents to know as I don’t have any children of my own. I think this area appears to be safe and pleasant for children as far as I have observed. Kids play outside with and without parent supervision and it seems everyone feels very safe and protected and neighbors seem to keep vigil about the surroundings in general. "
