We have two children here. The principal is responsive, the school is diverse in every way, the community is inclusive and welcoming. Both our children test well and make progress. Both our children love the school and their teachers. I saw someone give the school one star noting carline. It’s the same carline as carline everywhere. "We can walk to the theater, bowling alley, restaurants, and stores. Well lit sidewalks. Every First Thursday there is a neighborhood block party where businesses stay open later and have live music in the street. "

"Fondren is funky and fun. Every house is different..no cookie cutter homes here. Great area for artists with street festivals in walking distance. "

"There are several pit bulls in our neighborhood but we haven’t had problems in many years. Sidewalks that we have are well maintained. Lots of people run, bike, and walk dogs. "
