5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of multiple SLPS students in two different schools, I can say that Mason seems to be a good school. The first school my Mason student attended and my other student still does, definitely seemed to be better, but I can't fully say as we're in a pandemic and cannot fully engage as we could before. My student LOVES her teacher and her peers, and is definitely learning a lot, which is fantastic. I do have to say that the current principle Stacey Franklin, has been nothing but compleltely rude in the few interactions that I have had with her. Which is beyond anything I've ever experienced with any SLPS staff, as with the years that I've had my students in the public schools, it's been nothing but great. It's a shame to have someone like this, who is supposed to be the leader of these future adults. I do think that hopefully the rest of the staff can silence someone who truly seems to be miserable in her own life to make sure they know what a good person is supposed to be in life. That is just my experience, but did want to let other people know as well.Parent Review2y ago - Long Middle Community Ed. Center

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLong Middle is a great school. With such a small population, the school is a very tight-knit community. The class sizes are small and have a great teacher to student ratio with the average at about 20. The teachers at this school prepare engaging lessons and are extremely motivated to make sure that all kids succeed.Other Review6y ago - Roosevelt High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent that currently has a student at Roosevelt. I feel it had vastly improved over the years. I attend every parent-teacher conference, email, have one on one talks with the teachers and other staff and everyone I’ve encountered have been very pleasant and helpful. The teachers really want to teach and guide and not just show up for work. I believe the school is overall getting better and offers a lot of opportunities for students for college, trade schools, and social/emotional growth.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 5349 Arsenal St.

"I moved to Southwest Garden about 9 months ago and I absolutely love it! It’s generally pretty quiet, but it’s close to all the best spots in the city (the hill, tower grove park, forest park, the grove). Everyone I’ve met who lives in the neighborhood are all very kind people. We all look out for each other, which makes it a very welcoming and nice place to live. "

"Tucked away, quiet, but still with easy access to 64 and 44. Kingshighway can be pretty busy during rush hour, and it's not bike friendly at all (sidewalk only, if you value your life). Easy access to two fantastic parks as well as The Hill neighborhood, with its array of great restaurants."
