2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe princible has lie about not wanting my son who has a disability there does not want to work with him at all I have gotten phone calls every day it's sad that act like it was to much for them. I moved in the area and my kids are not use to Spanish but yea this is their home school it's sad how bad Lansing school has becomeParent Review8y ago - J.W. Sexton High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am so disturbed to read these reviews because my nephew is attending JW Sexton and has experienced bullying with nothing done about it. The stories my nephew tells about the security guards turn there heads like nothing is happening. The bullying is my main concern, it has turned my nephew ugly against wanting to be at school. The principals make excuses for the students bullying and come after the ones being bullied. The school seems to protect the black students but as I am a parent of a biracial child, I find this disturbing that race has to play a role because we are all equal no matter the color of our skins. I believe what is wrong is wrong. The school board needs to act before something bad happens by a student that is fed up of it, this should not be. My nephew quit the football team due to bullying and I heard over the phone as the coaching staff encouraged it and didn’t stop it. I also had a conversation with the coach and he was the most disrespectful man I ever met, no wonder why the students act the way they do. The parents need to step up and get involved in changing the policy’s in JW Sexton high school, I am going to the school board meeting due to the issues I’ve been dealing with there with my nephew on 12/2/2021 from 6-8.Parent Review2y ago - Sheridan Road

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the worst schools my children have attended. My daughter has been verbally, physically and sexually harassed and absolutely nothing has been done. The principal is well aware of everything that has happened and insist that my daughter needs to take responsibility for that has happened.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 1901 Gordon Ave.
