From the administration, to special educators, to teachers, to aides ... everybody values diversity and goes out of their way to promote inclusivity. “The Positivity Project” is an example of the schools dedication to empathy, kindness, and compassionsParent Review2y ago - Severna Park Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst middle school possible send your child somewhere else. If your child is in any way different, even slightly the school, and the parents will totally just ban you from the community and teach their children the same. The teachers are horrible. They speak to the students so ignorantly. The parents are even worse. If you don’t come from a high dollar purse, don’t even bother talking to half the people here. Sports are out of control there’s no sportsman like conduct. We were threatened several times last year to have sports taken from us. It got so bad. Do yourself a favor. Actively take the time to find a better school and a better community to grow your family in. Otherwise you’re going to come out, defeated, and worse than when you started. Take that from someone that lived nearby and grew up in this area for over 20 years. It’s a shame this used to be a semi decent place.Parent Review7mo ago - Severna Park High School

"I love living in Severna Park. I feel safe, it’s an active community, and neighbors are friendly for the most part. It can be a bit homogenized and snobbish though. "

"Live and work here in Severna Park. The Severn river is great for power boating, sailing, fishing, crabbing and skiing. I enjoy looking at the beautiful river every day. And if your into farming ,the Eastern Shore of Maryland, offers lots of high quality farms with slightly better than average National growing seasons and great watefront properties for sale. Rock Hall, Chestertown , and Easton are just a few of the great places to live when thinking of the Eastern Shore. Of coarse I love Myrtle Beach but Ocean City is one of Marylands many Crown Jewles. We don't live like hermits or isolated recluses here in Maryland. There is plenty to do, theatre, cinema, sports, night clubs, bike trails, great shopping , dinning and on and on and on. With lots of great people to interface with. Maryland is just like having a family or special person you love. Once you've lived here , just like family you care for, you just don't move away from it."
