The communication between the staff and parents is very inconsistent, the good teachers can help your child complete the work. On the otherhand the bad teachers will go to radio silence. If you dont contribute largley to the chool you will be shut down. Bullying is rampant through the school and nothing is being done about it. "The Downtown Bethesda area is HOT. You can Walk to METRO, cafes, restaurants, movies, coffee shops, boutiques, ice cream parlors and major grocery stores. It is said that there are close to 100 different restaurants within a square mile - featuring all types of cuisine - from Indian, Tai, Chinese, Italian, Mexican to....you name it. (There are also the familiar Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and Haagen Dazs outlets.) There's even a FREE circulator bus which can take you around Bethesda (at no charge, obviously) and bring you back. Bethesda is a safe area - filled with businesses and nightlife. It was recently voted the "wealthiest town" in America but if you're young and willing to share an apartment, you can have a great life for a reasonably affordable monthly rent."
