N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorwood Elementary is a hidden gem. The teachers and staff are excellent and dedicated to the students. Principal Mark Taylor and assistant principal Michael Ruppenkamp are doing a great job. My apprehension about the Dundalk area is eradicated due to this outstanding school. My child has completed kindergarten and first grade, and is currently in second grade, and has experienced excellent teachers who are committed to their profession. There are many after school events. Communication with teachers and administration can be done by email and phone, and responses are rapid and respectful. It is 2024 and we are impressed with the exceptional high quality of Norwood in all areas. Norwood Elementary school should be rated a 10 out of 10.Parent Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 7327 Holabird Ave.

"it's low income housing which I'm moving soon , but it's not unique at all it's the struggle low poverty area they try to maintain it but if u ask me I think everyone here should be directed elsewhere where and be forced to work and be self sufficient the people here are carefree have no real means to do better outside of myself. I do not recommend this area to no one and the violence has escalated "

"A plethora of dog friendly establishments in this neighborhood, from dog parks with bars and ice cream shops with dog treats to restaurants with dog menus. Neighbors especially love when the pups participate in social activities. There are costume contests during halloween and dogs are also encouraged to dress up and join the October light festival parade. Canton is a dog-lovers haven."
