8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school seems to teach for the statewide test that are given. My daughter had lessons on the same topics for months at a time. The Leadership is there to say no more than to help the kids grow. There is not a real sense of community. Through online learning during the pandemic it as obvious teachers were not teaching. Her teacher meet with the students for a short time and then assigned them graded homework that it was up to the parents to teach and help the student with. Bottom line before the pandemic and after the pandemic, the school seems more interested in their ranking than actually teaching the students for the long term and providing a strong foundation for them to succeed in a highly ranked university.Parent Review1y ago - Severn River Middle School

"This neighborhood is right on the b&a bike trail it’s so nice here. A mix between families with young children and older couples as well. Right near a shopping center and grocery store. Also in between Annapolis and severna park, about 5-10 min to each. "

"This is a great neighborhood for dogs and people are really good about picking up after them. We got a dog right after we moved in and it was a great way to meet people. It is sometimes hard to remember names quickly but dog names are fast and can save you in a jam. The whole neighborhood his 3.2 miles so walking your dog here can really get you some steps!"

"I am so glad that I live in Arnold! I can get to everything I need to within a matter of minutes! My neighbors are absolutely wonderful I couldn’t ask for better!
