4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter a terrific experience at the k-3 school we were beyond shocked and saddened by our experience at this school. New principal is self congratulatory and out of his league. Teachers are good but leadership is very weak.Other Review6y ago - J.C. Solmonese Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can speak on the last two years and have been extremely happy with my child’s experience at the JCS. Teacher and staff always listen to my concerns and are responsive. Many chances for volunteering opportunities with school events. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say, it’s been a positive experience from the principle to custodians.Parent Review7mo ago - Norton High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this School when I was young. I enjoyed my time there but it was a different time. My son has graduated from there and my daughter is about to attend. It is a much different town and school since I went. I was into bikes, dirt bikes and having fun, the town has grown so much that there is not much space left to do that anymore. These older reviews are useless. I do know many people use school choice to attend here and I can attest to this curriculum as more advanced than the Attleboro system I attended before I moved to Norton, but again that was also 20 years ago. Drugs as one reviewer noted are everywhere, which is a disgusting review to include, maybe she should have sent her child to an NYC public school. I would assume the cities crack down on this perilous behavior at a young age so as not groom life long criminals. I have not lived in a city and my small town with my small town school served me well. I can only hope it does for my children as well. Facts are facts and opinions are opinions. I will say this is a very liberal town so if you are a liberal and love high taxes this is the place for you at least you will have some perspective on where we were and where we are headed as a town.Parent Review2y ago - Norton Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorton Middle School is an excellent school with its wide range of extracurricular activities, special area subjects, and advanced classes. Teachers are nothing but kind and supportive. They make sure that their lessons enjoyable yet effective. When a student is struggling, teachers can and will work with them before, after, or during school. The administration is constantly featuring various learning incentives, and offering new opportunities to diligent and successful students. There is an enormous amount of school spirit plainly shown by the posters and artwork donning each and every wall. This school is a beautiful environment for any child.Student Review8y ago - Check out schools near 2 Furnace Pond Way.
