NAWT haha i dont like this school very much but the education system here is excellent because i think its very hard cause all the homework but it helps me learn what i have to do to get this **** rightOther Review13y ago - Silver Lake Regional High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would give it a 4/5 stars. The pros are the teachers are very good at their jobs and can make you be prepared for College. However, since I was a CP2 student, I have difficulty getting started with College. The other pro is the events Silver lake has. They have rallys and many other cool events. The cons are, they don't effectively deal with the vaping issues in the bathrooms. The system doesn't detect vaping very well and if you tell a teacher about it, you can be called a snitch. The punishments aren't very good at all and doesn't teach the student a lesson. The student can just vape at home anyway though out the suspension. There needs to be a mandatory program for all students to prevent vaping and have a 3 strike you're out system. Also, the school isn't very diverse. It is mostly a white town anyway.Student Review3y ago - Halifax Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school soo much, we've refused to move from town. The way the school handled and responded to Covid, should be commended. They were one of three schools to be back to full in person learning, with the lowest cases in the system. There really is a sense of community/commradery in the school, I like that. My son is on an IEP and the school has been great at providing him the services he needs.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 150 Elm St.

"The commute to work is easy enough if you work on the south shore. I work in Braintree and that takes a bit longer, like an hour, and it can take up to 2 hours to get into Boston with morning traffic."

"There are good parts and not so great parts. The more residential private streets are usually very safe! There are newer playgrounds, places to walk, restaurants, grocery stores and a Walmart! Highways, shopping malls and the cape are pretty much 30 minutes away from center of town."

"A lot of town and school events that bring the community together as well as awesome 4th of July, Halloween and Christmas celebrations."
