Move into a newly renovated 3 bedroom/2 bath home with attached 2 car garage in the largest lot in this great neighborhood off of Maplewood Drive in Sulphur. The neighborhood has wide, safe streets, lots of trees, and all underground utilities. (This was one of the first neighborhoods to have power restored after Hurricane Rita.)
The property is being completely renovated (we have even installed a new roof, electrical, a/c, and plumbing) and will be ready the week of August 15.
Your new kitchen features stainless and black appliances, including built-in stainless steel oven with ceramic flat surface stove, built-in stainless microwave, dish washer, granite counters, lots of counter space, slate back splash, and small wine glass racks over the stove. Double sink has pull-out faucet, garbage disposal, and built-in soap dispenser.
The house has custom Mahogany wood blinds throughout. French doors open to patio and have encased blinds that never require dusting. Lots of recessed, accent, and track lighting throughout house. The hallway has three closets with plenty of storage! Master bath has slate floor and marble shower with bench. Guest bath has several floor-to-ceiling cabinets for storage, new tub, toilet, and double granite vanity. Utility room has washer-dryer connections, but you will need to bring your machines.
The house has a large-gauge wire to the cable company fiber optic box for optimal internet access. Two-car attached garage has electric door opener.
The yard has 12 beautiful, mature trees (Magnolia, crepe myrtle, pine, oak, etc.). The back yard is privacy-fenced.
Your new home comes with all appliances and is ready to move in with features unheard of in this price range.
In your new home, you will be:
3 minutes from I-10;
2 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants;
2 minutes from Sulphur public library, W.W. Lewis Middle School, R.W. Vincent School, and West Cal-Cam Hospital;

5-10 minutes from Sulphur High, Maplewood School, and public swimming pools;
10-15 minutes from downtown Lake Charles;
10-15 minutes from all area casinos;

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudent here, so this school is well and good when it comes to academics, yet some may not be able to thrive in such, or even participate. The main issue is bullying, now i will not like or beat around the bush, I have bullied my friend to the point that they tried and tried to talk to administrators (i saw my wrong and apologized profusely) yet it took them WEEKS to even THINK about talking to me about this. Now the teachers are nice and are very one to one with both students and parents if the student is not catching up exc, but when there is litter inside the bleachers and a cardboard sign that has been sitting for months that says "F- F*gs" (without censorship to both words) and no one has even the audacity to throw it out, you start to realize something is wrong. This "zero tolency" to bullying is utter bull and I want to speak out about this, coming from someone who has been harassed and bullied about anything I couldn't control. Your child would do well with learning, but be weary of their mental health and physical health, school can be a drain and people are screwed up sometimes. That is all.Parent Review2y ago - Richard W. Vincent Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was in 4th grade super smart! Brought home some disappointing grades. I contacted his counselor and set up meetings with both teachers, ELA Social Studies. I made several requests that they send home homework so I could see what the problem was. I’m not sure if they were hiding the curriculum or just lazy. The councilor was the best but the teachers and administrators were very lacking. The public school system needs to be reformed. Our children need to be educated not indoctrinated. I hope I am contacted to give my opinion verbally.Parent Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 705 Alabama St.
