10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school principal, Mr. Murphy, refuses to allow students to drop any AP classes, regardless of pleas about how it might impact their GPA. He appears to prioritize the school's image over individual concerns. This excessive focus on AP classes seems unusual. Additionally, some of the female security guards, display unfriendly behavior that creates discomfort among girls. Their treatment of students, including body shaming, is unsettling, especially considering we are teenagers. Even the dress code violation consequences, such as wearing a bright orange shirt, seem designed to embarrass rather than educate. Their lack of empathy is truly disturbing. And if I’m being completely honest the principal is completely out of touch with the students true feelings, and doesn’t take any chances to understand them.Student Review8mo ago - Mililani Uka Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went here from k-5th gr.Half of his teachers were great & half were so-so. You could tell if they were stronger in teaching math vs. language arts. He would excel in one or the other, but never making steady gains.Tchrs would assign HW, but didn't check it or at least pretend to check it by collecting it. He eventually put less value on HW because he stated that "she doesn't care about it".This is not just one teacher mind you...Parent Review10y ago - Anuenue School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a teacher at MMS for 4 years and I saw extremely dedicated, wonderful teachers, respectful and engaged students, and lots of family involvement! They have amazingly innovative learning experiences, including the camp, a hands-on garden, and numerous positive behavior systems in place. Unfortunately, I recently learned that 2 of my favorite administrators are no longer there, but the entire staff is exceptional! I MISS Hawaii and MMS!Parent Review1y ago - Ke Kula O Ehunuikaimalino

"EVERYONE is walking their dogs all the time. It’s a very active and dog-social city in general. Only thing I would say is a flaw is that the MTA takes forever to clean up the sidewalks of some of the junk that falls off of the trees, and some other dog owners sometimes leave their dog’s poop in the grass when there are doggie bag stands everywhere."

"I was born and raised in Mililani, but lived in 4 different homes. We stayed because the school district is awesome, best on island, and the homes and community are well kept. This town is part of a town-wide association that keeps everything manicured. The rec center events are amazing thanks to our events team, and the facilities are ever growing and getting better and better. "
