8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter graduated from Milton HS and my son is currently attending. My experience as a parent has been very disappointing and frustrating. The school is under staffed, the counselors and teachers don't seem to care, they are unresponsive, the school always smells like marijuana smoke and overall it feels like an overwhelming and chaotic environment. The focus is on football and athletics and for students not participating in sports, it's difficult to make friends and connect. My son has been sad, lonely and suffering socially and academically since starting at Milton. He hates going to school, I've reached out for help and advice multiple times and my emails and voicemails are ignored or dismissed. The environment seems to be getting progressively worse and I think the new charter schools in the area are negatively impacting Milton by dividing the local student population and loss of funding and resources favoring the many surrounding public charter schools.Parent Review6mo ago - Sweet Apple Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful school with fantastic teachers. We have multiple children at this school and the teachers know our kids very well. It probably helps that our kids are well-behaved, listen and actually care about learning. I see reviews from other parents here who are complaining about this school and I really can't understand how it's possible to not be happy with the staff, teaching and curriculum here. The principal is very responsive and active with parents. It's important for parents to get involved in school activities. It shows your own kids that you care. There are a few kids (we hear from our kids) who act up and create distractions in the classrooms but, from what we have heard, the teachers are good at disciplining and moving the class along.Parent Review7mo ago - Elkins Pointe Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI realize we are in the middle of a pandemic so I took that into consideration before writing this review. Honestly, this is the worse experience I've had at any school with teachers. The teachers DO NOT teach. They give busy work after talking for about 10-15 minutes (if they talk that long). And they don't care if the kids understand or not. If your kids go here they WILL BE teaching themselves; and if you have a child that can do this then they will be okay. But if you have a child that needs to be taught something they won't learn a thing. I'm very severely disappointed in the Academics and the quality of teachers that are there. It's completely unprofessional to bully students and talk about them like you are a student yourself, but THIS IS what goes on at Elkins. Teachers don't respect the students. Not all of the teachers are doing this, but honestly it only takes a few to kill the entire moral of the student body and the parents. It has been an exhausting year dealing with the gross amount of unprofessionalism amongst the staff there. If you have another choice, take your child to different school.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 255 Hedge Row Holw.

"We’ve lived in Roswell for 15 years, and find it very convenient and enjoyable in many aspects. The availability of any type of services, restaurants, shopping, parks, doctors, relative easy access to Atlanta and the airport - all of these make Roswell very attractive to live in, regardless of the age or family size. The Cultural Center always has a play or a show, to keep you entertained, right close to home. The parks are numerous, great fir biking and hiking, well maintained playgrounds."
