7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my son’s third year at this school. He hated school for four years before starting here. He’s excited to go here every day. He’s in an autism/special education classroom and the staff and neurotypical students could not be better. They teach him by reaching him where he is and lifting him up. The gen ed students are so kind and inclusive to our children. I couldn’t be happier with this school.Parent Review8mo ago - Veterans Memorial Middle School

"commuting is not bad at all there's a bus stop at almost every corner so there's no problem of getting around only thing is that there's not enough places that I can go and just enjoy myself within the city being that there's a lot segregation and discrimination going on within this beautiful city in which I think if we had outlets to enjoy it will decrease the unneighborly feel of the city"

"Lock your doors. There is a big mix of lifestyles here and that makes crime abundant. The area needs gentrification and cleanup in places. Then it would be safer for everyone. Houses could be more affordable if they were not gems in the rough. "
