9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandchild came home from Mitchell Elementary yesterday with a photocopied rejection letter. This is how he found out that he was not given any of the fifth grade jobs he had applied for. I have seen plenty of things in my lifetime—but a rejection letter from a school to a ten year old I never expected to see. It was needlessly cruel. We do not trust Mitchell to act in a thoughtful, nurturing manner. We are removing our grandchildren from Mitchell at the earliest opportunity and placing them in private school.Parent Review2y ago - Plant High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageas a past student, i do not recommend this school. it’s listed as one of the top schools in tampa but they don’t ever discuss school fights, online safety, etc. on some occasions fights at school happen but nothing is done about it making this a somewhat unsafe campus where students don’t feel safe.Other Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 1809 W Inman Ave.

"Community atmosphere. Near the Bay and Bayshore Blvd. Great access to the Plant Library, a gem! Older homes, which are great for the DIYer's who love projects and dislike look-a-like neighborhoods."

"We have lived in this area for 10 years. It is an historic district with all the charm of older homes and neighborhoods, but has been kept up and has easy access to shopping, restaurants and parks. It is a wonderful, family friendly, area. It is very close to downtown Tampa and is only blocks from Bayshore Blvd which is the showcase residential street facing Hillsborough Bay."
