"I work from home but nothing is more than 15-20 minutes drive in South Tampa with downtown only being 5-10 minutes away."
  • Sean U.
"It’s pretty good getting to downtown even thought you have to turn left on Bayshore. Getting to 275 is a quick drive down Howard as well. "
  • Ethanl
"Great neighborhood. Hottest one in tampa. Restaurants in village are awesome and everyone maintains their house. "

"I work from my home so I don’t have a commute. To commute downtown or other areas is 5 to 15 minutes max."

"Lots of community events that are family friendly. Many good local restaurants. I always feel safe, and I love that the area is family friendly, dog friendly and also full of young professionals"

"Community atmosphere. Near the Bay and Bayshore Blvd. Great access to the Plant Library, a gem! Older homes, which are great for the DIYer's who love projects and dislike look-a-like neighborhoods."

"18 years and going strong. Tampa’s most northeast like neighborhood keeps getting better. Best schools, shops and restaurants are walking distance."
  • Michael

  • Mike B.
"Hyde Park offers a pedestrian lifestyle abundant with high end shopping, fine dining, entertainment, street markets/fairs, open parks and easy access to Bayshore Boulevard. The schools are all top rated in GreatSchools (Mitchell Elementary (10), Wilson Middle (10) and Plant High School (9))."
  • JAMES R.
"We have lived in this area for 10 years. It is an historic district with all the charm of older homes and neighborhoods, but has been kept up and has easy access to shopping, restaurants and parks. It is a wonderful, family friendly, area. It is very close to downtown Tampa and is only blocks from Bayshore Blvd which is the showcase residential street facing Hillsborough Bay."
