8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs an 7th grade student who currently goes there, I think this is one of the worst schools ever, but it is somewhat okay. Some teachers are nice and actually care about my education, which I am thankful for. Although there are many teachers and staff members who I find so moody, and many teachers who don’t teach well AT ALL. And the dress code is beyond crazy. Sometimes you can get dress coded so easily, even if you are following the dress code. There also is a major bullying problem which I absolutely hate, I get bullied almost every day, and when I tell a teacher they do nothing about it. I don’t recommend going to this school, but it is a nice location atleast.Student Review2y ago - Riverview High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful diverse school with multiple programs. The IB Diploma Program is particularly strong, with high-achieving students who take very challenging course loads. Expectations are high and kids are well prepared for college, many of whom go onto top-tier universities. Facilities are well maintained and administrators are approachable and want the best for the RHS community. Really impressed with many of the teachers and a high percentage have advanced degrees.Parent Review2y ago - Ashton Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went to 1st grade in Lisa Schubauer’s class. The class had 21 kids, and the teacher was overwhelmed. Whenever I raised a concern, she often complained about having a crowded classroom. My observation and feedback I got from other parents indicated that she tends to favor certain kids and neglect others. My main issue was the language to which kids are exposed. I don’t think it is appropriate for 1st graders to learn about having crushes and cursing at such an early age. The school and the teacher should not allow this kind of language.Parent Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 6262 Sturbridge Ct.

"there are mostly over 65 aged population living in this neighborhood. Schools are a long way away and the few children who live here are bussed to the neighborhood. County maintains the streets in this development also county controls parking so that can be problematic. "

"Not a good place for a dog, no place to walk them that won’t aggravate neighbors. Try somewhere else if you are a dog owner."

"It’s a wonderful family friendly environment for all ages and lifestyles. I find it unique in its neighborhoods. That’s what Palmer Ranch is maintaining in its expansion; its developing families, friends and neighbors. Safe enjoyable, lush and continuously maintained landscaping are just some of the reasons to enjoy the outdoors! The Legacy Trail, Siesta Key, St. Armands Cir., Longboat Key are in a quick drive (depending on the season) and there are plenty of local stores, shops, and restaurants to choose from. This is my paradise! A gorgeous genuinely safe, people friendly, lush and peaceful environment all 10 minutes from the beach’s! Palmer Ranch, I’m home!"

"Great neighborhoods in Palmer Ranch! Respectful neighbors, drivers that stop for crosswalks and help each other safely get animals that need assistance cross our sometimes busy road. The endless beautifully landscaped sidewalks, friendly passers by, dogs parks, the Legacy Trail, periodic benches for resting and close enough to stores to re-hydrated or replenish."

"Village Walk is obviously a very walkable neighborhood. With exercise trails leading to community recreation facilities such as tennis courts, fitness center and lagoon pool(s). Neighbors can always been seen walking, with family or pets enjoy this area. With all this nature the community still has it's own shops AND is close to all Palmer Ranch has to offer. Check it out today!!! "

"It's a very safe and very clean and well manicured area. Really about the only place to buy in Sarasota for the $250K to $550K price range that isn't all junky and hodge podge. The only problem for me would be the lack of good restaurants in the area. You have to drive downtown for that, but you'd not get much for your money if looking for a home downtown---- so, it's a real toss-up here. But a very lovely area to live in-- and the safest in Sarasota except maybe for Laurel Oaks area which is way too far out and way too stiff (and higher in price)."
