4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has been a real lifesaver. We are informed about when things are happening at school. The teachers are extremely supportive as long as students are willing to do their part. We really appreciate the fact we have an JROTC program. We have meetings once a month that encourage parent involvement, all you have to do is show up and choose to participate. Students have mental health resources available. There are parent teacher conferences held quarterly so one can be aware of what’s going well and what areas one’s student needs help or just needs to step up one’s efforts. The workload is cumbersome when a student chooses to use their classroom time unwisely. Most teachers put their heart into teaching here at Edgewater ; it’s up to students to do their part. The school is proactive in its discipline policy. Most students comply due to this fact. Overall, the school is a winner in my eyes compared to where our family came from.Parent Review9mo ago - College Park Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has a great administrative staff. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful. The Assistant principal connects with the students on a different level. The PTA group/parents are always pushing for different activities for the students and families. They have multiple resources to support the students and families in the community. I like the fact that if you have any concerns about your child's behavior or education, they have an open-door policy where you can address those concerns. I will say because they serve a lower-income community, a lot of the students come in severally behind or under grade level, which makes the school look bad. They ask daily for parent participation. I love the staff, and most teachers care about the students. This has the potential to be a great school for the community.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 3733 Camino Way.

"Love this area. Great Mix of young and old living in the area. Neighbors are friendly and keep up their homes. Optional to belong to HOA and there is a Rosemont Woman's Club that one can join to go to many top venues around the greater Orlando area and meet your neighbors. Very close to Winter Park and College Park areas with Trader Joe's close by. John Young Parkway is easy access from here. Beautiful Lake Orlando! All around great neighborhood! "
