8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing! The teacher are great and they teach the kids so much and actually care about them. The principal is active and always wear a smile on her face. The principal takes suggestions and will implemented them as well. I feel like Mrs. Brown is a good leader. The cafeteria staff are amazing too. We love Ms. Tonya, Their is a lot of men security which is a plus. I feel like my kids are safe at this school and I feel like the staff will go out their way to protect them.Parent Review4mo ago - Southwood Middle School

"The commute is awful at peak times. A lot of people are kind and let you in on old cutler road. It’s pretty slow, but, moves. On holidays, summers, breaks, it’s perfectly fine. There are a lot of short cuts to help with the commute. Waze also helps quite a bit. "
