6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been with this school for two years and has amassed average learning. the fact that the school hasn't enforced any homework is hindering their ability to stay interested in in their work. The teacher they currently have, gives default summaries which feel disingenuous. The staff seem to be pretty supportive of the mental wellbeing, albeit a little overbearing. The children around my child's grade level are very influential, (mine now being no exception) and share information and content that are leagues above all of their own maturity. On grounds the school doesn't seem to keep a keen eye on who has screens and what the content my be. When it comes to events that they invite family to, they specifically make imperative that you don't bring any of their siblings. That is absurd. I would recommend against bringing your child to this school quite honestly.Parent Review2mo ago - Lyman High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really love it here. I’ve been to three high schools overall, and Lyman is my third and final one. I feel safe, there are many ways to get involved in the school culture, and overall other students are respectful to each other and care about doing well in class. If you hang out with the right people, you won’t have any trouble doing good here, but that’s with any school. I’m proud to be graduating from here, and really love the motto of diversity and inclusivity because it’s true. We’re always up to date on events because of the weekly newsletters from Mr. Hunter. The communication and environment is great :)Student Review8mo ago - Greenwood Lakes Middle School

"I don’t know, I’m always working so I don’t go out much except to eat, But there is a dog park and there’s a baseball park a few of them and there’s a skateboard park and then you have to get out on the main road 79 two or 434 to get to any restaurants or anything like that. All in all it’s a safe neighborhood with nice people, you wave, they wave back, there have been some car break-ins but the police department got that under control real quick. I’ve lived here 4 years and it’s been a good experience."
