There are many fights at this school and its very crowded once you get to 7th and 8th grade. It can also get a bit dangerous when going to your next class since there are some kids occasionally you play around and accidentally bump and push others which can hurt kids who just want to go to class and be left alone. The schools rules are a bit much like for example in the cafeteria.Some students also make fun if what I wear and I see others makes fun of students about the type if phone they have and what they look like which I find horrible and can cause students ti have a low self-esteem and 4uin their day. Even though these things happen I just have to ignore them and focus on my work.Teachers way of teaching are pretty good and I've learned many thing at school for my future education. I do want to day though is that most administration don't really help much with students mental health since students feel scared or don't need to since they probably won't do anything to help. I've only met 2 adults(besides teachers because most are good) that I felt the most comfortable than the other administration. All in all though I think its a decent school for your kid to go to and I do have some fun and memorable moments here too.I would like it if the administration or the office change some if their rules to make them better suited for kids like me who want some space,even just a little, so I can just focus on my work and be done and go home.

My child received an amazing education, as well as positive support and encouragement from his teachers. He went from being a so-so, disinterested student to High Honor Roll and award winner in two short quarters. My only regret is that we didn't find this school earlier. The staff and administration hold these kids accountable and they are firm, but they truly love these kids and love being educators. It shows. Mr. Wallace (the Principal) has turned Bailey to an A school because he makes it all about the kids. Ms. Lovelace, Ms. O'Steen and Mr. Land are absolutely outstanding teachers and I cannot thank them enough. Thanks to them, I have a child who is now excited about learning and knows he has what it takes to succeed!

If you're considering sending your kid here to the IB program, think really, really hard. Do your research. The principal has left, AND many teachers are leaving. My kid has 6 classes and 4 teachers are gone or will be leaving. As a senior, in the 4 years, there has been so much teacher turnover. This place is a joke!!!And, administration now is horrible. Had an emergency and had to sign my kid out, NO ONE!! was willing to help. NOT ONE PERSON except for may the kid who answered the phone. Such a disappointment!
