7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three students at East- a senior, a junior and a sophomore. I was hopeful that with the previous Principal retiring; things would get better. They have not. Requests to speak with counselors and assistant principals go ignored. My kids complain that many teachers seem lazy and just do the minimum. My oldest daughter cuts classes regularly. I asked that the assistant principal contact me to have a conversation with her. A week later, he still hasn’t gotten back to me.To be fair, there are many teachers who stay after hours to help students and clearly try to do the best they can for students. Sadly, many do not.Parent Review2y ago - Hill Campus Of Arts And Sciences

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei have attended to hill campus of arts and science for all 3 years. At this school i have been bullied harassed daily. people always try to expose and fight you. I am so glad i am in highschool now and i won’t ever look back at that school again. If you are reading this and other responses please look into ad many responses as you can from student that have actually gone here. I have been getting therapy for 2 years after the atrocities this school has done to me.Student Review1mo ago - Palmer Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePalmer has provided an exceptional experience for my daughter. All of her teachers have been fantastic and provided a stimulating, fun, inclusive learning environment. She's made great friends from all backgrounds and walks of life. We love the small school experience and the fact that every child receives individualized attention. The YMCA after-school program is great and easy to get into—no wait list or shuttling kids off-site! We also like that the bell time is later than many schools! We're lucky to have such a wonderful school right in our own neighborhood.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1160 Colorado Blvd #27.

"I like the neighborhood. I feel safe. There’s cool shops. The people are friendly and usually say hello. There’s a lot of dogs and people seem to pick up after them. The streets are clean and there’s usually always parking. "

"Many families and kids and parks and quaint. Local school nearby and everyone is friendly. I enjoy it. "

"I’ve lived here over thirty years and moved here specifically for the schools and knowing it was safe for my children to walk to school and play outside. My children are grown now and even though many older people have moved, many younger families have moved in. It’s fun to see all the children playing outdoors and families getting to know one another"

"Parks are great but there is a lot of traffic. I love going to the park with my dog. There are always others pups to play with! I do wish that there were a few more lights around the park for evening walks. "

"friendly neighbors, great local restaurants within walking distance, sense of community, and close to everything in Denver, especially City Park, the Zoo, and Museum of Nature and Science."

"just another average, rather bland neighborhood in Denver. with a 5+ year Hole next door. building more overpriced condo's & apts not many can afford. if you consider 2+ miles in any direction a "High Walkscore", then you have no clue what a real city should feel like. yes it's safe, better the Caphill but that's not saying much. "

"This is one truly great community in the metro Denver area. It's safe, and beautiful parks, walkways, and bike paths nearby. It's a comfortable place to live and easy access to downtown."
