I am a past educator and licensed social worker who has worked in schools for over a decade...and I can't say enough good things about this school, the administration, teachers, facilities, curriculum, and their dedication to social and emotional learning. From the moment we first spoke with the front desk, we were impressed with their family-centered approach and dedication to student learning. Our son is also learning Spanish and having wonderful experiences in the STEAM classes. The Principal and Assistant Principal really go above and beyond to support students and families. "We have lived in this neighborhood almost 3 years. At first we really loved the neighborhood, as it seemed like people cared about their neighbors and the neighborhood. With the turnover in homes,it seems as the new residents have this it's all about me attitude. When we first moved here you never saw dog poop just left anywhere, now you have to be careful where you walk. "

"People here complain about too much barking. My little dogs bark but they’re only outside long enough to potty. In some areas there are wild animals roaming. It’s unsafe to leave your pet unattended. I’m afraid for my dogs safety from predators when they go out so I watch them. An owl or Hawk could take them away. I wasn’t aware of this, it wasn’t in the research I did on Colorado Springs."
