5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved here from a different a city and my child basically just wasted a year here learning everything he learned last year...The worst experience ever, not just academically but even worse, some specific students AND teachers were bullying my child so bad he has begged me to homeschool. We can’t wait to leave this school and never returnParent Review4y ago - Yucaipa High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot a student or parent, but a grandparent. My grandchild entered Yucaipa HS this year, 2020-21 as a district transfer student because her parents were planning a move to Yucaipa area. Then covid hit. We thought that it was going to be terrible, but just the opposite occurred. The distance learning she has received has been almost flawless, the teacher involvement above what we could have hope for and the counselor and Special Education department the same. The work load was a little easier the first semester, the adjustment was hard on everyone. This second semester it is harder to get an A or B - but not impossible. Teachers teach clearly, the curriculum is explained clearly and if she had problems there was always one on one appointment after school for each need. When I hear people yelling about how their children are not getting a good education I can't say I can relate to that here. Hopefully they will all be in class and well next fall. In the meantime, I'm very grateful for these teachers and this school.Parent Review3y ago - Ridgeview Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 4th grader has been attending Ridgeview since Kindergarten, and has a wonderful experience here. I feel like all of the staff at this school, from his teachers, to office staff to yard duties, etc., really care about him and his progress. Each teacher has given him any support he has needed, in different ways. I'll always be grateful to his 1st grade teacher, who pushed for him to receive more speech/language services. There will always be kids with behavior problems, but generally the kids and parents are great here. I don't know about test scores or any of the other measurables that go into a rating, but our experience at Ridgeview has been phenomenal.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 35035 Comberton St.

"It has that smaller town feel that you don’t often experience in Southern California. From here you can experience any kind of terrain you are looking to explore just driving under 2 hours in any direction. Mountain, low/high desert, beach, city... it’s all just a short drive away, depending on traffic lol. Yucaipa has family friendly festivals and celebrations all throughout the year promoting local business, arts, and music. There is an up and coming uptown area of the city at the top of Yucaipa blvd. which is growing and booming with a great mix of local culture and cuisine. "

"See dogs loose all the time and it’s scary because you don’t know if they are aggressive. I like the fact that this is a quiet community "
