5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s bad. They give out moldy cheese and rotten milk for lunch and etc. they don’t do anything to stop bullies and are really bad at protecting people from fights. It’s just bad.Student Review2mo ago - Buena High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood school overall. History program-mostly leftist teachers who twist history-minimize the United States. Especially true of AP History. Example essay question to students applying to AP History ...Why do you think Barak Obama is one of our best Presidents? One teacher unplugs school PA system during Pledge Of Allegiance and if she has to do it, takes her hand off her heart when words "under God" are said and won't say them. Promotes you are a citizen of the world. Stickers/posters in classes highly tilted politically. Music Program lacks fairness with Director playing power games giving different levels of hardness test questions to students to favor or put down whoever he wants. Positions and awards can be based on favoritism or power games and have nothing to do with ability to play an instrument or skill level. Teacher tantrums are not unusual-have a demoralizing effect on talented students. Not doing "assigned" volunteer work can be taken out on you in other ways. AP Programs available in Math, Science, and English. Some excellent teachers (Environmental Science and Biology). Some excellent regular track Math Teachers. AP Math teachers are a mixed bag.Parent Review9y ago - Elmhurst Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son had an amazing first grade teacher who treated each child as an individual and was approachable and FUN! The special education class intermingled regularly with the other students and even joined on their field trip to the zoo. I thought this was pretty great, because I got to see how well all of the students knew each other. The school involved parents on a regular basis and we're pretty good at resolving conflict as long as the kids are good at communicating... Bullying/child interactions are tough to catch sometimes.Anyways, overall... We thought it was a pretty great year.Parent Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 5282 Dartmouth St.
