5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school allows groups of students to pick on and brutalize students with special needs. The administration which has been asked for help does nothing except turn their backs and allows violent encounters to repeatedly occur.Other Review2mo ago - Maria Carrillo High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, pretty okay for high school. Lots of homework for the first three years (I am a senior) but it gets better 4th year. I feel very prepared for college academics wise. Good LGBTQ+ rep too, the student population is mostly indifferent/accepting. The only large problem is the amount of bathrooms. There are only 4 bathrooms (2 for girls, 2 for guys) available at all times to 1,500+ students, which obviously is not great. The school needs to put money and time towards making sure there are more bathrooms accessible.Student Review1y ago - Kenwood Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am so happy our children got a district transfer to Kenwood. The teachers are kind, helpful, responsible, and are truly invested in their students. It seems like new teachers are hired on after longtime teachers retire. We have the pleasure of one of the newest teachers educating our son this year, and she has been amazing. Interactive learning, not bogged down with homework, and fair. Having such great staff speaks highly for the Principal as well. Principal Bales knows every kids name, as well as their siblings and parents, and is funny, approachable, and well liked by teachers, parents, and community members. My children excel in academics here, each reading several grades above their current. The class size is small, so whenever they have struggled with a new concept, each teacher has been able to assist. My kids are truly interested in learning because they are supported and encouraged. The teachers value each student individually, and are there to help after hours if needed. We LOVE Kenwood School!Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 219 Mountain.

"Having lived in Sonoma county for 20 years, 15 of which where in Santa Rosa, north of Coddingtown area, I wanted a quieter neighborhood to live in. I have found it here in Oakmont. And we have tons of facilities and activities available, golf courses, walking/hiking trails in or nearby. Plus, located in a somewhat rural area we are just minutes from town. "

"Very nice area but not a lot of room for expansion or imagination. I believe it is limited to seniors (55+) and extra family members etc are not allowed for more than a couple days of visiting."
