Rincon Valley Middle School

Our son has been attending Santa Rosa Montessori School (formerly Brush Creek Montessori School) since summer of 2023, just before he turned 3. He was home with me or a nanny prior to that and didn't have any prior daycare or preschool experience. Since starting with the preschool he has flourished and blossomed into a beautiful, kind, independent little human. The Montessori approach with the multi-age classrooms is so beautiful, leaving plenty of space for self-guided learning and play while also being supported by our wonderful, Montessori-trained staff. I love how the younger kids learn from the older kids and how the older kids really embrace being role-models and guides to the youngers. It's not uncommon to see an older and younger student in the same classroom pairing together on a work. It's really sweet!All of the teachers and staff have many many many years of experience with early childhood education and in Montessori programs and are really passionate about the approach. We've been with the school through a major transition to our new and beautiful campus. While it felt a little worrisome for a moment, the transition couldn't have gone smoother. Our new campus is fresh, clean, open, and welcoming. The outdoors space has plenty to offer the littles (2-3) as well as the older children (4-6). Everyday our son goes to school happy and comes home happy due to the relationships he's built with the other children and the whole staff.I can't say enough positive things about our experience with SRMS. I 100% recommend it to anyone seeking a nurturing preschool experience in Santa Rosa and nearby towns.
