Our child always comes home with a smile and tells us how much fun she had while learning. The staff and teachers all seem welcoming and friendly. The teachers are generally caring and courseload is pretty rigorous, especially the science courses. The campus is safe and there are rarely any fights or bullying as most students keep to themselves or their own groups. All the campus staff is helpful and friendly. To be honest, I think Gabrielino does not get enough credit for being a good place to learn, compared to other more wealthy schools around the area. "I have been living here for more than 20 years. It is a very safe and peaceful area. Very convenient location with everything accessible. Great selection of restaurants for various types of good food, bars, supermarkets, shopping centers, libraries, parks, etc. It is a comfortable place to live. Good school! Friendly people! "I work from home but frequent Downtown LA, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood frequently. Can usually get to where I need to be in about 45 minutes even in heavy traffic. Considering some of these places are 30 miles away, it’s not that bad."
