6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBest high school in Moreno Valley. The Canyon administrators are proactive at serving students and resourcing parents. Principal Kerr is helpful and willing to meet when necessary. The campus supervisors balance maintaining security with building relationships to encourage the students. The girls basketball program is second to none in the Inland Empire. The program for graphic design is not only fun and inspirational but a top-class opportunity for students to learn real world skills. Every school has it's issues and students who just want to mess around, but those students are managed well and not allowed to negatively impact the rest of the student body. "Midland is a decent area. I've lived here 9 year's. Know alot of my neighbors. We all look out for each other. Neighborhood's show pride of ownership. Thing's have been looking up in the past year as far as the prices of the homes and the growth of Moreno Valley as a city. I love this area and my city. Very happy where I'm at. "

"the area and surrounding neighborhood is incredibly gang infested. constant gatherings of gang members. gang members shot in broad daylight. high school kids involved in the gangs. "

"I lived at this property and I will agree with the previous poster that this area is bad. But I will say that the neighbors in the cul-de-sac are mostly very nice, friendly people. If you stay on Birdsong you are fine, but anywhere outside of that is rough. The only reason this street is safer is because the neighbors are good people and look out for each other. Overall, I would not live here again just due to the area and crime."
