Beautiful home for sale in the City of East Los Angeles very close to Montebello and Commerce. Ceramic tile flooring in the living room, dining room, hallway, and bathroom. The bathroom was recently remodeled with a beautiful brick-style wall finish. There is a den with a fireplace currently being used as an office space. The property also includes washer and dryer hookups in the garage as well as a hot water hookup for the garage which can help significantly in potentially converting the garage into an ADU. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just wanted to say that the Principal at Eastmont Intermediate, Ms. Sotelo is a great person and awesome leader. I was a random parent with a question and when I called the school, she picked up the phone (very unexpected for a Principal) and was extremely helpful. She said she'll get back to me and called me back the same day with an answer to my problem and found a resolution. She took the time to help me and my child when she really didn't have to. You don't get that kind of help nowadays and it's great to know the school just doesn't have an administer but a great leader others should follow.Parent Review3y ago - Montebello Park Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT Teachers and staff are rude to say the least .."MPE has failed to impress me with their SUB STANDARD form of running this school. I would not trust them to teach my dog, let alone my children" "I would have pulled my child out within weeks of seeing how poorly ran this school was" statements in another review that I strongly agree with..Parent Review7y ago - Schurr High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchurr High School has amazing teachers, staff members, counselors and principal. Schurr High School has around 30 clubs and around 15 different sports. This school has lots of benefits and also the teachers help you a lot. Schurr has so many kinds of events like sports, concerts, prom and etc. My child had an amazing 4 years at Schurr. This is a great school to be in!Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 6050 Gloucester St.

"Limited sidewalks and street lighting at night. I rarely walk or stroll around in the area and drive everywhere. A few restaurants and a coffee shop is walkable, about 15 minutes on near Wilshire."

"Car traffic due to alt freeway entrances has become dangerous for walking or biking. Some vandalism exists. "

"I grew up here, and it feels very much like home. The traffic is minimal, there’s both high and lower end shops, and it’s incredibly safe and quiet."

"Venice is unique and eclectic with wonderful restaurants and a fun nightlife. It’s a great place for young people. "

"Very walkable streets and high dog population neighborhood. Lots of people out walking in the evenings on a nice day, many with baby strollers, dogs or both."
- Adam Harman

"We moved to this neighborhood as a predominate work-from-home location. It’s a good community with lots of lot space where even in heavy commuter traffic you can get to the west side in ~45 mins. This feels especially satisfying compared to further out communities that people go for similar space but require 1-1.5 hour commutes each way."
- Adam Harman

"Neighborhood has yearly events, such as a holiday get together and the area draws a lot of people for Halloween festivities. There’s a number of young families that have come into the area in the past couple years and there’s good above average interaction and playtime amongst them, compared to other areas of Los Angeles from experience."

"I mostly commute by car or bicycle. There are glstretts with sidewalks and many trees, quite area to walk with dogs. Also, Lake Balboa and VNSO within 10min drive. I like Sherman Oaks "

"A few good parks for dogs at the periphery of the neighborhood, many dog lovers. However sidewalks disappear at critical moments making walking with a dog treacherous and there's some big dog phobia here (same as many parts of LA) "

"I lived in this neighborhood for over a year. The weekends are loud you can hear music being played from houses down the street. Not walkable at all. Huge dogs everywhere and doesn’t feel the safest. Pretty dirty and unmaintained. Closest grocery store is a food for less which is dirty and not where I would want to buy my groceries."
