There is no large corporate or chain businesses other than 7-11, no buildings allowed higher than 3-story, much of the beach area houses were built in the 50’s and 60’s. Many are now remodeled and nice. The IB pier is quite beautiful with regular fishermen, surfers and people walking. "

What used to take me 30 minutes now takes upwards of 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the day and time of year. That is truly the only downside to living in IB... everything else is great!"
