9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child made some very good friends and had some excellent teachers. However while there, my child was bullied and the head staff did nothing about the situation. There was much more that happened , including accusing my daughter of something that she didn't do and then proceeded to grab her by the arm and tell her she knows she did it , but there was no possible way my daughter could have done it.Parent Review2y ago - Anderson Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were very pleased with the quality of our son's education at Anderson. Don't be scared by the lack of a Great Schools Rating; it is a function of the types of standardized tests that go into the rating system. The elementary schools on Eielson are split in two; K-3 at Anderson and 3-6 at Crawford (we had sons at both). Our son attended the last quarter of his Kindergarten year and left at spring break in his second grade year. (both were a function of our military-related moves) We found the class sizes and academic curriculium to be comperable to most of the other schools we have had our children at throughout the country. The teachers, in my experience, were fantastic. They were always exceptionally communicative, to include personal updates on both positive and negative academic and behavioral issues. Wish there was more PE, but it's tough at -30!Parent Review13y ago - Ben Eielson Jr/Sr High School

"Not all dog owners are equal. Some are amazing and some need to kindly give their dogs up for adoption. As a result you see a wide spectrum of dog and behaviors from those dogs, so stay on your toes as you meet dogs around here."

"I don't live in the city of NP but outside it. Crime is low. Great place for kids, even a little Mayberry. Winters are more brutal the older I get. Definitely good for a 10 year run, then go SOMEWHERE ELSE!! You will meet some very unique peeps here. Have to be to make it!"

"A lot of unleashed dogs roaming around. And we are pretty close to mission road where there is a lot of traffic. So some people may worry about their pets getting hit by a car if they aren’t on a leash. "
