"Puppies are walked all the time. Almost everyone has a pet of some kind. People are respectful of leash laws and don’t let their furry friends wander the neighborhood unaccompanied."

"My husband & I have lived here since house built, (2004). We have seen the area grow with all kinds of people, families with kids, couples. We never seen any crime activity. Neighbors get along nicely. We have a beautiful professionally maintenance, Large park right in the middle of our community. Safeway & others are 1 mile to the North, Rite Aid, Walgreens & others are about 1-2 miles South. We do like living here, however because of health issues,(being a 2 story - climbing stairs!) we do hope to sell our home someday and get a one level. "

"This is a new neighborhood of custom homes adjacent to Maple Crest, a highly desirable neighborhood with a strict Homeowners' Association ensuring well maintained properties that enhance values and livability. Excellent and sought after Evergreen Schools including Harmony Elementary, Pacific Middle School and Union High. Close to numerous parks, restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood is friendly and diverse in nature blending those of retirement age, couples and young families."

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in the 2nd grade. I have really enjoyed Pioneer for the last few years. I volunteer in my daughters class so I am pretty familiar with everything. The principal Jenni is fantastic! Most of the teachers seem great as well. My daughter loves Pioneer. My complaints would be that the smarter kids are not challenged enough because the teachers and helpers are having to spend so much time with the kids that are behind, therefore, the smarter kids do not have a chance to excel above their capabilities. Excel classes are offered once you reach 2nd grade, but a parent has to request their child be tested. The pick up time of day seems a little chaotic and makes me nervous, kids could almost go with anybody. The drop off in the morning is annoying, they do not let the kids walk through the office because the classrooms have outside doors all around the building, yet last yr my daughter's class didn't have an outside door and she was told to use another classroom door. If you want to make sure your child enters the building safely you have to follow them all the way to their outside door! No easy drop offs here! They are strict about where you can park to drop off as well.Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Harmony Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis School is really great! Would not change to another school. I went to this school since I was in kindergarten, now I'm in High School. Loved it! Staff is nice. Fun projects , awesome times . I loved how they had cool activities like the fun run, field day, field trips, assemblies, ect.. Had this one teacher named Mr. Towers, he is really nice. Lots of good memories from this school! :) Highly recommended!Student Review7y ago12 Reviews - Emerald Elementary School
