Birthday invitation rules have certainly changed since my 3 children attended Silverdale Elementary School. We were able to invite our child's close friends and not required to invite the entire class to the house. This allowed our children to learn that we valued honest relationships in the safety of our homes while respecting all classmates. It also conveyed the importance of a few quality friendships rather than quantity acquaintances.

Great school and staff, horrible transportation. If you move to the CK school district please make sure you give them a week or more to get transportation set up. Apparently the transportation office can’t look at an address and setup a bus stop without several of days and wasted time. Very inconvenient for working parents who can’t drive their kids daily. When questioned why it took them so long to setup child transportation and what would happen if I didn’t have a way to transport my child being new to the area I was told my child would have to stay home. My chart would have to miss out on education because someone can’t set up at bus stop
